Twilight Bath Bomb Review (Lush)

hey everyone! I know I rarely do blog posts but extensive reviews on the lush products that I try out will probably always be here on my blog (and not on youtube i.e.). Today I'm going to talk about the "Twilight" bath bomb which I showed in a haul on youtube a while back. I used it about a week ago and I was in the bath tub for about 20 minutes if you're wondering. First of all, I should say that the main reason I bought this is because of the name (duh!) but once I got home and smelled it outside of the lush-craziness I actually really liked the scent of it! You can read yourself what it's supposed to smell like and what it's supposed to do here.

Okay so this bath bomb is kind of huge just so you know! So you would kind of expect it to last quite long right?! Well, I thought it disappeared kind of quickly to be quite honest.. maybe in like about 5 minutes?! Apart from it being done so fast I really liked what it did. I kind of forgot that it said that there's blue coming out of it at some point so when there suddenly was all this blue stuff inside the pink ball I was like "yaay that's so cool" even though it's not really, but still.. anyways so I liked that little surprise but then as I said before it was over pretty quickly and I was like "aww maan.." so yeah.. BUT then came another surprise which was very twilight(the movie)-esque ;) I noticed this towards the end of my bath but was still totally amazed. Do you know what I'm talking about? :) Well.. there were a lot (!) of tiny glitter things in my water which was so awesome and beautiful looking so I really liked that too. It didn't leave any glitter on my body though but I shower right after my bath real quickly (just with water) to be like cleaner than clean, weird but oh well.. so that might have taken away the glitter a bit.Still liked the effect of it in the water though!

To sum up: I really enjoyed all the little perks of this bath bomb.
1) The name!
2) The blue on the inside
3) GLITTER!

BUT I thought it disappeared a bit too fast so I'm not gonna repurchase this any time soon and keep trying out new things but I might buy it again at some point because I did like what it did.
So, that's my little review on that.. hope you found it helpful and I cannot wait to try out lush's christmas stuff ;)

xoxo, -natalie

PS: I kind of gave my blog a bit of a makeover so I hope you like that :)

Tiny Haul: Benefit Eye Bright (YAY) and boots (YAY again)

Hey everyone!
Today I went shopping for boots and found some amazing ones! yay for that ;) I'll either show them in a video some time or take a picture and show them. The other very exciting thing I got (because where we went shopping was my nearest Sephora which I obviously love) is the benefit eye bright which I've been wanting for a long time! I have really bad under eye circles and they're even puffy sometimes, depending on how long and in what position I sleep. However, puffiness can't really be "covered" or "brightened" so I do my best in doing so with my under eye circles. I'm not like OCD about my under eye circles but they make me look waay more tired than I am and so I'm always happy to try out new brightening products. Benefit eye bright was of course one of them partly because it's a very hyped product on youtube and other sites. I have just applied it over my makeup on one eye which made a huge difference compared to the other eye! Since I haven't used it properly and haven't really gotten to play with it much I'm not going to review it right now, but I will do so at some point maybe on youtube (@strawberrymargharita) and I'll probably tweet the picture of the boots (@SBerryMarg) and post it on dailybooth (@strawberrymargharita). Hope you liked this little blog-haul (making a video on one or two things didn't seem like a good idea)!
xx -nat

ps: gonna watch the new episode of grey's anatomy now yay ;) was more excited about the new episode of the vampire diaries though ;) love TVD!! :)

Project 10 Pan #1

Hey blogging world!

I did a video on my project 10 pan on youtube which I don't know how to post this here so here is the link to it: Click Here!

I'm probably going to update this and I might be doing that here. If I do, I'll put it in an annotation in my video.

I'm sorry that there aren't many blog posts or videos for that matter but I'm back at college so I have classes every day and well am just busy. I am posting things on my Luuux page though. On Luuux you can share things, earn luuux money by doing so and then spend it in their shop (they have awesome stuff! e.g.: ipod, iphone, macbook pro, flowerbomb perfume, LV bags etc.) I'll put my link Here in case you wanna join and add me as a friend :)

Anyways, I'll try to do more blog posts but especially videos.
Take care guys!

The Vampire Diaries Obsession: Team Damon

Hey guys!

I have wanted to go to bed half an hour ago, now guess what I've been doing since then.. - I have been looking for a good picture of Damon and Elena of the Vampire Diaries. yes, it's true. I admit, I'm slightly obsessed. I actually want the picture for my iPhone as a background (not in the home screen, in the other one, don't know what it's called) but now that I can't find a good one I think I actually just really want to have it like in general!!
I'm not only totally obsessed with the show but I'm also extremely team Damon right now! I've been trying to compare this little issue with Twilight (of course) but I don't really think that there's any comparison to be made. In Twilight it's Edward or Jacob where they're not the same species and if you've read the 4th book you know how it turns out and for what reason. (I'm not going to spoil this just in case you don't know what's going to happen) But in the Vampire Diaries (which I've been shortening as VD which is kind of well.. an abbreviation that stands for something quite different!) Damon and Stefan are both vampires and it's not like Elena is "meant to be" with Stefan (as it kinda is in Twilight) or at least I don't think she is. And I know that Damon is kind of "the bad guy" and doesn't always act nice and well there are a lot of points where he's the guy you just have to hate but I just think that in the end he does the right thing (not always!). Anyways I have my reasoning behind why I'm so team damon.
Also, one of the reasons is the scene in Season 1 (episode "miss mystic falls") where he fills in for Stefan at the dance and he dances with Elena which is just the most beautiful thing ever. Since I've started writing this post I have been listening to the song that was playing while they were dancing which is so beautiful and hopeful and just well Damon and Elena. The song is All I Need by Within Temptation (I don't like the band but the song's just so beautiful) so go check it out! It's not really my taste either but well, it reminds me of the dancing scene which was just so romantic. Okay so I'm going to stop rambling. Here are the pictures that I did find, one of them is Damon and Elena dancing and the other two are Damon, Elena and Stefan. Still hoping for a better picture of Damon and Elena alone though ;-) all righty, night guys! xx -nat

Review: Clinique Acne Solutions Foundation

Hey Everybody!

I thought I would start blogging again, haven't posted anything in a while.

So here's a little review on the Clinique Acne Solutions Foundation :-)

On the Clinique website (www.clinique.com) it says: "Feels so fresh, looks so natural. Non-irritating, oil-free makeup helps blend away blemishes, neutralize redness. Medicated ingredients help treat existing breakouts and keep them from coming back."

First I should tell you that this review is based on two samples that I got so I got to use this foundation like a couple of times, maybe almost 5 times per sample which is quite good. I applied it with my fingers because the foundation is quite thin which I like. It has moderate coverage and goes on very smoothly. It blends quite nicely too! Yes it does feel fresh and natural because as I said it's not thick at all so it feels like your own skin. I don't really have sensitive skin so I can't tell you whether it's irritating or not. I also don't have major breakouts.

If I actually had acne and were to use this foundation I honestly don't think it would cover up anything so yes it's probably healthier for acne skin than something thick like Mac's Studio Fix Fluid for instance. It just doesn't really cover up that much.

The foundation is made for clinique's skin types 2,3,4 which means any skin type that is not completely dry. (I have combination skin) The foundation is priced at $24.50 which is not really cheap but it's still affordable since you don't need that much of it.

So bottom line is that I will most definitely purchase this foundation at some point but not just yet. I'm going to try another clinique foundation next (maybe "even better") and see how I like it. I personally do like a bit more coverage in a foundation than the acne solutions one has to offer and yes it might work for me but someone who has a lot of acne will have to use quite a bit of concealer I think.

This is just my opinion so if you are interested in this foundation, don't have major breakouts but still want to have a medium-coverage foundation that is healthy for your skin then go check it out at your clinique counter or online.

Thank you for reading my post, I'll do more asap :-)

My Name

Hey guys!
It's been such a long time since I've made a blog post, partly because I've been lazy and enjoying the first couple of weeks of my summer break and partly because I finally thought that I would tell everyone my real name (especially on youtube). I will do a video about it as soon as possible but I will just address it now on my blog real quickly. My name actually is Natalie. I called myself Zoey because I love that name so much and honestly wish it was mine. When I first started doing youtube videos at the beginning of this year, I heard about a lot of privacy issues with youtube accounts, so I was just skeptical and thought I'd go with one of my favorite names. After having made a couple of friends on youtube, I started feeling kind of bad about pretty much lying about my name to them. So, from now on, all blog posts and youtube videos will be signed with my real name. Previous ones will stay the way they are though. So I hope you can understand and I wish you a nice rest of the week and hope to do some more blog posts when I have my new iPhone (YAY) all set up.

Loving the LUSHiousness

Hey guys!
So I'm alone at home for another week and I've never been alone on Easter, plus I've never been on a health kick on Easter but I have like one giant chocolate Easter Bunny,a middle-sized one, a lot of mini-sized ones and some white chocolate-coated almonds (btw not that bad even though I don't like white chocolate!). Okay so thinking of when I was little and didn't care about my figure and stuff I couldn't have been happier about these things but now?.. well let's just hope that the chocolate stays yummy until it'll all get eaten (I'll probably will need to give away a part of it,can't possibly eat this much!).Anyways, I've been sitting at my desk since I got up and my butt is starting to get sore so I thought I'd finally take my lush bath and do a review afterwards... I'm taking a bath with the Creamy Candy Bubble Bar.All right so I'm going to check on my cat Joey because he hasn't eaten today which is very odd and after I'll take my bath and then come back and let you know what I think.

Okay so I'm back from my bath and also just had dinner. So about creamy candy bubble bar: I adore this one!! I still have some left which I'm excited to use again. It really does smell like rock star soap and it made very nice bubbles! So it will probably be one of my staple products from Lush.
Talking about Rock Star Soap, I'll do a quick review on that one as well.
I bought this soap a while ago and have been using it for maybe two weeks now therefore I can review it properly. I absolutely love the smell! Never smelled anything like it! But- yes there's a but- it does not moisturize well enough,or in fact at all. The way I use the soap is that I rub it in my pink loofah-thing from The Body Shop and then I sort of exfoliate my body with it. Now, when I used the soap for the first time I didn't have the loofah yet so I just used it on it's own and that time it did moisturize slightly but with the loofah it really doesn't. Since the smell is so nice this doesn't bother me too much but my next soap will have to be different in that way.

Bottom line, I will be repurchasing both of these items because I just LOVE the smell. But I am going to try out other soaps first to see if the moisturizing thing is a general factor. Creamy Candy was moisturizing though so this will be one of my next to-be-bought bubble bars.

Happy Easter everyone and go check out those two products at LUSH!

Long time no blog and Strawberrymargharita tutorial

Hey guys!
So I haven't written in a while. I've been uploading a couple of youtube videos instead but also a new term at uni started so I'm getting busier and busier now. PLUS I've been reading a lot more than usual (aka not at all) so to let you bloggers know,I'm a huge Twilight fan as many are but I only got into it when New Moon came out.. First I heard about the books by a friend who read them all in about a week but this was right before finals and graduation and my Florida trip so therefore I sort of forgot about it and I didn't watch the movie in theaters either. BUT during my first term at uni I had a proseminar about vampires. lol. okay not really about vampires. One of my majors is media studies and this course was about media aesthetics on the example of vampires, or Dracula to be more specific. So it really got me interested and we had like a list of movies that would help us throughout the term and of course Twilight was on it so I borrowed it on DVD from a friend and watched it and really loved it but it didn't really make me jump up and go read the books but then after finals I got all excited about going to watch New Moon at the movies which I did and after this movie I was DAZZLED (little Twilight insider joke lol) and of course wanted to know how the story continued so I went out and bought Eclipse. After having finished that, of course I had to go get Breaking Dawn (by the way woah 700 pages! this was by far the longest book I've ever read!). I finished this one about two weeks ago I think,or one week, not sure.. anyways,I've never been this excited about something and addicted to something. What I'm excited about you can guess.. ECLIPSE THE MOVIE yay and the trailer is on youtube since Thursday and officially out since yesterday and I honestly cannot wait! What I'm addicted to is the story,so guess what I'm reading right now??.. that's right! after having read the third and fourth book I started reading the first one and the book is so much better than the movie plus several scenes have been totally changed or even left out (not the context, just like the setting of the scene and stuff) in the movie. So I'm almost half way through the book and uhm yeah so that's what I've been doing :) One more thing, I think I'm more excited about the Breaking Dawn movie (coming out next year) than Eclipse (coming out June 30th). If you've read it you'll probably be with me on that one I guess :)

Anyways,I did a strawberrymargharita look on YouTube so you're more than welcome to watch that!

Here's the Link! (I wasn't able to upload the video for some reason, sorry!)

And here is the picture I was mostly inspired by (apart from the image in my mind):All right so this is it for now. Have a great day and follow me on Twitter!

OMG: name analysis

Hey guys!

I just had an encounter with my oxford english dictionary and good lord there is no "margharita" so I started thinking why in god's name I spelled the word with an "h". I actually was referring to one of my favorite drinks a strawberry margarita and one of my favorite OPI colors with the same name but where did the "h" come from? Thinking it over and over and not even finding anything about the origin of the word online while researching just now I don't have a very good explanation. According to some website with baby names it actually is a name which can be spelled differently so as it is a name, thank god,I didn't make it up. So what my dictionary told me was that there's a margHErita which is the pizza with barely anything on it. So now to my little conclusion: I love the drink, the nail polish and I love strawberries and pizza so there you have it: strawberrymargharita :) and the "8" I had to add since without it is was already taken and 8 is my favorite number and possibly also my lucky number :)

Youtube Update & Rainbow Nails

Hey everybody!

So I haven't put up anything in a while because I wanted to last weekend but I got sick so I couldn't really. After spending days in bed I'm better now and starting with a quick update and showing you my rainbow nails.

I started putting up videos on youtube so if you're interested: www.youtube.com/user/strawberrymargharita

In one of my recent videos I said that I was going to do rainbow nails because my nails broke from putting up my new bed so I couldn't do my french nails. So here they are :)
I used a red from YSL,an orange from OPI (On The Same Paige),a yellow from Claire's (not worth buying,OPI has a pretty one:Need Sunglasses),a green from Essence and a blue from Essence. The bedding underneath is from Ikea. I really liked that look but it's just a bit too uhm well not for my age anymore so I don't know I just wore it at home and I wouldn't really go out like this especially not to class. But I still liked it even though I have to say the oh-so-great blue had sparkles in it which I didn't like because the rest of the colors were matte so next time I would start with a green and end with a purple on my thumb. A quick tip for the yellow: mine was extremely sheer so what I did was base coat, matte white coat (mine's by Nivea with Calcium Power) and then the yellow (probably like 3 coats of it,it's really not worth buying!OPI is though!) and then of coure a top coat. If you're wondering,my base coat is Sephora by OPI Base Coat and my top coat is just a random one from Essence.

Hope you liked it and please check out my youtube channel :)

Lush Review

Hey guys!

So, I thought I would tell you what I think about two Lush products.
The first one is Flosty Gritter Bubble Bar (yes this is spelled correctly!). It is a pink glittery bubble bar which is why I chose it in the first place and it even smelled nice because I didn't expect for something to look that cool AND also have a nice scent. It smells like vanilla with a bit of lavender so it's sweet but also kind of fresh-smelling.You're supposed to crumble it under the running tap in the bathtub which is what I did but let me just say that all that pretty shimmery glitter didn't show at all in the water. The water did turn pink and the bubbles (or more like a foam actually) weren't that big and didn't last that long (about 40 minutes). They were like a bit shimmery but it was just a bit disappointing when you have this shimmery pink bubble bar in your hands and your skin is covered in sparkles but then crumbling it under the running tap just made it dissolve so quickly. no more glitter and the scent wasn't that strong (still good though!). I was mainly disappointed because I wanted to have sparkles on my skin when I went out on new year's eve but I didn't plus this thing cost me 8.90 CHF (swiss francs -- http://www.lush-shop.ch/) (-> it's only $5.65 in the states) so I would have expected a bit more. Bottom line: I would actually repurchase it if I had the money just because it's pink and before you put it in also glittery and I like that :-) Oh and I used the whole thing even though you could have cut it in half but I just wanted to know what the whole thing does since I'm kind of new to Lush products.

The second one is a bit confusing. In the states it's known as Gnome Name Bubble Bar but on my wrapper it said No Name Bubble Bar and on http://www.lush-shop.ch/ it's called Sexy Harry so that's cool in it's own way (since Santa has different names in various countries as well) but it is confusing. It is from the Christmas Collection so they might not have it any more but they seem to still have it online. Anyways, he retails for $6.25 and in Switzerland for 8.50 CHF and he's also meant to be crumbled under the running tap. He smells amazing! Seriously, he smells just like Christmas. On the Lush website it says that he is "warming,fruity,spicy,soda-scented". I would describe the scent as very cinnamony with a hint of orange maybe and a bit of vanilla, lemon and even a tiny bit of chocolate, but mostly cinnamony. It's hard to explain but he smells really really great and the red part on him even has a bit of glitter so I did have a similar experience with him like with the Flosty Gritter thingy but I must say that I wasn't that disappointed in him. I really liked that the bath just turned like red,blood-red! So I liked that..because,FYI,I love the Twilight series and in fact vampire legends in general. The bubbles,or again more of a foam really, were very solid if that's the way to decribe them. I could like take them in my hands and they didn't even slip away,it was a great experience. This was my first lush product ever and it was a good choice. Oh and this one made my skin a bit smoother than the Flosty Gritter one, just so you know, but they're both comfortable to relax in. Bottom line: I would repurchase it if it was available throughout the year because it just smelled very nice and the red water was unique.

All right,if you have questions or comments, feel free to leave them and I'll try to get back to you!Happy bathing :-)

Welcome to my Blog!

Hey everybody!
So,I have been into the beauty guru videos on youtube for a while now and since I really like makeup and fashion I wanted to get into it myself but I'm not really that comfortable in front of a camera and so I decided to go with a blog. Basically, I will be doing the same thing as all the beauty gurus on youtube but it will be adapted to my lifestyle and environment because I live in Switzerland where products seem to be a lot more expensive than in the US. I do own some things from the US and I will try to coordinate as much as I can,so I'll say where you can get them in both countries. And my lifestyle is that I don't really have a lot of money to spend because I'm a student in college and I don't have a job as of right now so I have to be careful with spending money. These are just some facts you guys should know about me when reading my blog posts. So, there will be product reviews (makeup, lush, skin care, hair care and other stuff) and if I can write about them I will try to do tutorials with pictures and well just some other stuff, you'll see ;-) Okay so I will get to that as soon as I can. If you have requests or comments please feel free to leave them and I promise to read and reply if necessary.
All right, have a good one!
