Hey Everybody!
I thought I would start blogging again, haven't posted anything in a while.
So here's a little review on the
Clinique Acne Solutions Foundation :-)

On the Clinique website (www.clinique.com) it says: "Feels so fresh, looks so natural. Non-irritating, oil-free makeup helps blend away blemishes, neutralize redness. Medicated ingredients help treat existing breakouts and keep them from coming back."
First I should tell you that this review is based on two samples that I got so I got to use this foundation like a couple of times, maybe almost 5 times per sample which is quite good. I applied it with my fingers because the foundation is quite thin which I like. It has moderate coverage and goes on very smoothly. It blends quite nicely too! Yes it does feel fresh and natural because as I said it's not thick at all so it feels like your own skin. I don't really have sensitive skin so I can't tell you whether it's irritating or not. I also don't have major breakouts.
If I actually had acne and were to use this foundation I honestly don't think it would cover up anything so yes it's probably healthier for acne skin than something thick like Mac's Studio Fix Fluid for instance. It just doesn't really cover up that much.
The foundation is made for clinique's skin types 2,3,4 which means any skin type that is not completely dry. (I have combination skin) The foundation is priced at $24.50 which is not really cheap but it's still affordable since you don't need that much of it.
So bottom line is that I will most definitely purchase this foundation at some point but not just yet. I'm going to try another clinique foundation next (maybe "even better") and see how I like it. I personally do like a bit more coverage in a foundation than the acne solutions one has to offer and yes it might work for me but someone who has a lot of acne will have to use quite a bit of concealer I think.
This is just my opinion so if you are interested in this foundation, don't have major breakouts but still want to have a medium-coverage foundation that is healthy for your skin then go check it out at your clinique counter or
online.
Thank you for reading my post, I'll do more asap :-)
