Hey guys!
I just had an encounter with my oxford english dictionary and good lord there is no "margharita" so I started thinking why in god's name I spelled the word with an "h". I actually was referring to one of my favorite drinks a strawberry margarita and one of my favorite OPI colors with the same name but where did the "h" come from? Thinking it over and over and not even finding anything about the origin of the word online while researching just now I don't have a very good explanation. According to some website with baby names it actually is a name which can be spelled differently so as it is a name, thank god,I didn't make it up. So what my dictionary told me was that there's a margHErita which is the pizza with barely anything on it. So now to my little conclusion: I love the drink, the nail polish and I love strawberries and pizza so there you have it: strawberrymargharita :) and the "8" I had to add since without it is was already taken and 8 is my favorite number and possibly also my lucky number :)

Youtube Update & Rainbow Nails
Hey everybody!
So I haven't put up anything in a while because I wanted to last weekend but I got sick so I couldn't really. After spending days in bed I'm better now and starting with a quick update and showing you my rainbow nails.
I started putting up videos on youtube so if you're interested: www.youtube.com/user/strawberrymargharita
In one of my recent videos I said that I was going to do rainbow nails because my nails broke from putting up my new bed so I couldn't do my french nails. So here they are :)
I used a red from YSL,an orange from OPI (On The Same Paige),a yellow from Claire's (not worth buying,OPI has a pretty one:Need Sunglasses),a green from Essence and a blue from Essence. The bedding underneath is from Ikea. I really liked that look but it's just a bit too uhm well not for my age anymore so I don't know I just wore it at home and I wouldn't really go out like this especially not to class. But I still liked it even though I have to say the oh-so-great blue had sparkles in it which I didn't like because the rest of the colors were matte so next time I would start with a green and end with a purple on my thumb. A quick tip for the yellow: mine was extremely sheer so what I did was base coat, matte white coat (mine's by Nivea with Calcium Power) and then the yellow (probably like 3 coats of it,it's really not worth buying!OPI is though!) and then of coure a top coat. If you're wondering,my base coat is Sephora by OPI Base Coat and my top coat is just a random one from Essence.
Hope you liked it and please check out my youtube channel :)

Lush Review

So, I thought I would tell you what I think about two Lush products.
The first one is Flosty Gritter Bubble Bar (yes this is spelled correctly!). It is a pink glittery bubble bar which is why I chose it in the first place and it even smelled nice because I didn't expect for something to look that cool AND also have a nice scent. It smells like vanilla with a bit of lavender so it's sweet but also kind of fresh-smelling.You're supposed to crumble it under the running tap in the bathtub which is what I did but let me just say that all that pretty shimmery glitter didn't show at all in the water. The water did turn pink and the bubbles (or more like a foam actually) weren't that big and didn't last that long (about 40 minutes). They were like a bit shimmery but it was just a bit disappointing when you have this shimmery pink bubble bar in your hands and your skin is covered in sparkles but then crumbling it under the running tap just made it dissolve so quickly. no more glitter and the scent wasn't that strong (still good though!). I was mainly disappointed because I wanted to have sparkles on my skin when I went out on new year's eve but I didn't plus this thing cost me 8.90 CHF (swiss francs -- http://www.lush-shop.ch/) (-> it's only $5.65 in the states) so I would have expected a bit more. Bottom line: I would actually repurchase it if I had the money just because it's pink and before you put it in also glittery and I like that :-) Oh and I used the whole thing even though you could have cut it in half but I just wanted to know what the whole thing does since I'm kind of new to Lush products.
The second one is a bit confusing. In the states it's known as Gnome Name Bubble Bar but on my wrapper it said No Name Bubble Bar and on http://www.lush-shop.ch/ it's called Sexy Harry so that's cool in it's own way (since Santa has different names in various countries as well) but it is confusing. It is from the Christmas Collection so they might not have it any more but they seem to still have it online.
Anyways, he retails for $6.25 and in Switzerland for 8.50 CHF and he's also meant to be crumbled under the running tap. He smells amazing! Seriously, he smells just like Christmas. On the Lush website it says that he is "warming,fruity,spicy,soda-scented". I would describe the scent as very cinnamony with a hint of orange maybe and a bit of vanilla, lemon and even a tiny bit of chocolate, but mostly cinnamony. It's hard to explain but he smells really really great and the red part on him even has a bit of glitter so I did have a similar experience with him like with the Flosty Gritter thingy but I must say that I wasn't that disappointed in him. I really liked that the bath just turned like red,blood-red! So I liked that..because,FYI,I love the Twilight series and in fact vampire legends in general. The bubbles,or again more of a foam really, were very solid if that's the way to decribe them. I could like take them in my hands and they didn't even slip away,it was a great experience. This was my first lush product ever and it was a good choice. Oh and this one made my skin a bit smoother than the Flosty Gritter one, just so you know, but they're both comfortable to relax in. Bottom line: I would repurchase it if it was available throughout the year because it just smelled very nice and the red water was unique.

All right,if you have questions or comments, feel free to leave them and I'll try to get back to you!Happy bathing :-)

Welcome to my Blog!
Hey everybody!
So,I have been into the beauty guru videos on youtube for a while now and since I really like makeup and fashion I wanted to get into it myself but I'm not really that comfortable in front of a camera and so I decided to go with a blog. Basically, I will be doing the same thing as all the beauty gurus on youtube but it will be adapted to my lifestyle and environment because I live in Switzerland where products seem to be a lot more expensive than in the US. I do own some things from the US and I will try to coordinate as much as I can,so I'll say where you can get them in both countries. And my lifestyle is that I don't really have a lot of money to spend because I'm a student in college and I don't have a job as of right now so I have to be careful with spending money. These are just some facts you guys should know about me when reading my blog posts. So, there will be product reviews (makeup, lush, skin care, hair care and other stuff) and if I can write about them I will try to do tutorials with pictures and well just some other stuff, you'll see ;-) Okay so I will get to that as soon as I can. If you have requests or comments please feel free to leave them and I promise to read and reply if necessary. All right, have a good one!
